Polymeric High Temperature Deflocculant Liquid

High Temperature Deflocculant is a Anionic Acrylate Copolymer, specially designed to control rheology, reduce gel strength, and minimize flocculation in water-based drilling fluids operating under high temperature and high-pressure (HTHP) conditions.

It is a highly efficient anionic polymer formulated to withstand extreme downhole temperatures, typically up to 220–250°C . It maintains its dispersing and thinning performance even in the presence of high salinity, calcium/magnesium contamination, and polyvalent ions.

Key Functions

  • Controls Rheology: Reduces and stabilizes plastic viscosity (PV) and yield point (YP).
  • Prevents Clay Aggregation: Inhibits flocculation of bentonite and drilled solids.
  • Thermal Stability: Maintains performance at elevated temperatures in deep and ultra-deep wells.
  • Salt & Contamination Resistant: Effective in environments with high NaCl, CaCl₂, or other contaminants.
  • Improves Pumpability: Helps maintain manageable mud flow properties in HPHT applications.
  • Minimizes Solids Buildup: Enhances solids dispersion and helps manage low-gravity solids.
  • Enhances Wellbore Stability: Reduces formation damage by controlling colloidal particles.
