PU Membrane
SR-PU MEMBRANE is flexible single-pack water based polyurethane and high solids for waterproofing and sealing membrane. It is tough flexible membrane film which eliminates the need for a reinforcing layer which suited for high traffic area. SR-PU MEMBRANE is highly durable waterproofing coating having excellent resistance to UV, alkaline and efflorescence, and mould and algae properties. It is breathable that allows trapped water vapors to escape from the roof without blistering.
Method of Application
1 Substrate preparation
- The entire roof surface shall be cleaned, dry and free of all surface coatings or contaminates.
- All crack, hole must be repair with suitable repairing material and cure before application.
- Surface must be slope enough to make sure no bonding on roof surface.
- All joint shall be sealed with suitable sealant.
- For a polished concrete floor to the first.
2 Priming
- Apply the mixed of SR-PU MEMBRANE dilute with clean water (2 part of SR-PU MEMBRANE: 1 part of Clean Water) as a prime coat. Approximate area to be waterproof 8-10 m2. Allow 1-2 hour between each coat.
4 Applications
- After primer setting time (In the case of priming).
- Apply SR-PU MEMBRANE the first layer on the surface with a brush or roller. Rate 0.6 kg/m2/coat (1-layer dry film thickness approximately 300-350 micron) recommended to apply 3 layer (3-layer dry film thickness approximately 1000 micron).
- Allow 1st coat to dry for 1-2 hours before applying 2nd coat.
- Apply 1st coat horizontally, apply 2nd coat vertically.
- If necessary, apply layer 3 functionality as well as working in other layers.
- Clean the equipment with water immediately after finish working.
Area of Application
- Ideal for waterproofing of facades, terraces, balconies and wet areas.
- Ideal for waterproofing of concrete roofs including walk ways and planter boxes.
- Ideal for waterproofing of steal gutter, metal sheet roof.

Storage
- 12 month storage in sealed container and does not exceed 30 ‘C.
